Inside The Beauty Joint on Gilbert and Elliott, there’s a place that makes people feel beautiful, confident, and totally cared for. It’s called Bronze & Honey, and it’s run by the sweetest person—Drea Clarke.
Drea isn’t just great at what she does—she loves it, and you can feel that from the moment you meet her. She offers all kinds of beauty services like spray tans, teeth whitening, permanent jewelry, and brow lamination. Whether you want to shine for a big day or just treat yourself, Drea has you covered.
But what makes Bronze & Honey really special? It’s Drea herself.
She started her business in February 2022, after dreaming of having her own space where she could do what she loved and help others feel their best. And in October, that dream came true! “My favorite memory is getting my keys to my suite,” Drea shared. “I'd been working hard to get to the position where I could have my own suite instead of working out of my home, and I was able to achieve that.”
Drea also told us how much she enjoys the freedom that comes with running her own business. “I love the flexibility of being my own boss and meeting new people,” she said. And if you’ve ever had the joy of working with her, you know just how friendly and welcoming she is.

A Photographer’s View: That Natural Glow ✨
As a photographer, I’ve seen a lot of spray tans—and let’s be honest, they aren’t always great. Sometimes they turn out too orange or unnatural in photos, which can be a real challenge. But Drea’s clients? They show up with the most beautiful, natural glow. Truly—it’s one of the first things I noticed when her clients walked in front of my lens.
Her work photographs so well. The skin tone is warm, soft, and radiant—never orange, never blotchy. It’s clear she knows exactly what she’s doing and takes real care with each client. If you want to look sun-kissed in your photos without any of the usual spray tan worries, Drea is your girl.
