Hadley//Arizona Child and Cheer Photographer

The number one thing I look for in my spokesmodel applications is the support of the family. It’s important to me that the experience of working with me for the year but enjoyable for the parents as well as the child. The second thing I look for is an activity the child is involved in that she is passionate about. This gives us something to create the personalized session around, which makes that first session extra fun.

Hadley has both things in spades.

From the way her dad wrote about her on her spokesmodel application it was immediately clear to me that he was proud and supportive of his daughter. Over the last couple of months I have watched as her mom juggles life and a demanding cheer schedule as Hadley has quickly advanced through the cheer levels filling in for other teams as gaps arose. As for the passion Hadley has for cheer, the pictures speak for themselves!

While we intended for her spokesmodel session to be all about cheer, but thanks to a happy coincidence I had a dress rented from Anna Triant Couture that was just her size and color mom and I agreed would be stunning on her. So we added a little dress up to our cheer session!.

Ps. Just for fun. Here’s a picture from the first time I ever met Hadley back in 2019 when she was dancing with my friends over at Rhythm and Motion Dance Center!

Jayde//Flagstaff Arizona Child Photographer

Jayde is a returning member of our spokesmodel team. Last year we did a fairy dancer session and I cannot get the idea of Jayde as a beautiful woodland creature out of my mind. It might be her big bright eyes, or her sweet spirit or her natural beauty. But I think it is most likely the quiet sense of peace that she carries around with her, it reminds me of a walk in the forest. There is a magical quality to Jayde. I’ve seen it over and over again with her sister and my own children. She brings joy to moments that just held tears.

Over the last year we have done a lot of sessions together and I wanted to do something completely unique for her spokesmodel session this year. Her mom agreed we needed to do something out in nature and not knowing how I would pull it off with our fickle Arizona weather, I knew we needed to do a snow session for her.

Taking a leap of faith I ordered a custom blue gown from Jeanne Sterner Designs that I felt fit Jayde’s personality the best, booked a weekend in Flagstaff and hoped for the best.

Ironically we hit Flagstaff on one of the only weekends in February that didn’t have snow fall, but fortunately there was enough snow on the ground to make the images I had imagined for her come to life.

One of the things I love most about Jayde is how she is up for anything! Even if that means wearing a tank top in freezing weather just to get the images I dreamed up for her.

My favorite part of the entire set was how beautifully it tied together with her purple hair!
