Some birthday sessions just feel like pure happiness from the very first click of the camera. This one was exactly that.
I love a good color-drenched image and this session brought all my color loving dreams to life. Bright blues, pops of pink, yellow, and orange, and a whole pack of balloon dogs filled the session with color and made this birthday session feel full of life. From the moment this little boy walked in, his smile told me this was going to be a fun one.
The balloon dogs were a huge hit. I mean… how could they not be? Watching kids light up when they see something made just for them is one of my favorite parts of creating custom sets like this. The happiness was real, and it showed in every photo.
Confession time: I may have added “balloon artist” to my resume after this session. I made close to 20 balloon dogs to make sure I had enough perfect ones ready to go. Some popped. Some leaned a little funny. Some didn’t quite look like dogs at all. But in the end? Totally worth it.
Birthday sessions shouldn't be stiff or serious. They should reflect who the child is an all the joy they bring into the world. These images did just that, capturing childhood—happy, playful and so very magical.
