If you need me most days I’m daydreaming about superheroes, fairytales and Star Wars (basically all things Disney) A quick scroll through my Facebook page makes it clear just what inspires me. When Aaliyah’s mom requested a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” inspired session its safe to say I was a little thrown off. Despite my mom’s best efforts to show me old vintage movies as a child, this is one I have never seen.
I have, however, seen the images from the movie set floating around many times over the years. Aaliyah’s mom had the outfit and props she wanted to use, so without a lot of time to prepare, I ran with my best take on this classic movie. Mingle & Graze in downtown Chandler was generous and allowed us to use their cute storefront for a couple of cafe style images.
Now it’s time to judge, If you’ve seen the movie just how far off was I?
Ps. When we were all done and she had changed for her agency headshots I noticed we were standing RIGHT NEXT to a cute jewelery shop and I’m still kicking myself for not getting some images of her window shopping!
