Because racism still exists in our society and it's hurting us.
Because we still struggle to embrace each other and ourselves for for who we are. As we are.
Because we are still being told we need to tweak, and change ourselves and our children in an effort to be more beautiful, more normal, more accepted.
Because it's hurting 'our' children.
Because they need to see, and know they are not alone, and they are beautiful just the way they are.
We decided it was time to LET YOUR 'FRO OUT and celebrate who we are.
