Sports Powder Sessions//Arizona Child Photographer

As we look forward to the fun a new year brings, I wanted to pause a moment to look back some of the incredible images we created at past powder sessions with these amazing athletes. It takes an incredible amount of power and focus from the dancers and gymnasts to pull off these leaps and jumps while having powder (flour) hurled at their bodies, thrown from their hands, or flipped from their hair.

It’s not just dancers and gymnasts who can do these sessions, These amazing images below are a sample of what we created with non-dance sports.

Due to popular demand: We are also bringing back our color powder option for our 2021 sessions! We adored the bright colors and are looking forward to bringing them back this year.

Birthday Paint Smash//Arizona Child Photographer

Two is a special age. It’s the year that kids go from being a baby and start to bloom into the incredible, unique little human beings that they are destined to become. It’s the year that ‘no’ becomes a word heard all too often by parents as they develop their sense of independence.

As we planned this sweet girls birthday portraits, I wanted to do something different that she would truly enjoy. After all I’ve spent the last year trying to convince her to like me and I am FINALLY convincing her that seeing me is fun. The MOST fun theme I could think of, of course, involved making a mess, so I proposed a paint smash to mom. Turns out she’s a budding artist and the theme could not have fit her personality any better. It took less than a minute for her to dive right in to this session and less than 20 to have painted 3 balloons, 2 canvasses and her own face. It was a perfect way to celebrate her 2 full years on earth and I cannot wait to see what the next year brings for her!
