Nakupenda Photography Dance Squad Application (2024-2025)

And reside in the East Vally

Then I want you on my squad! I am looking for a variety of ages and dance levels as long as the dancer is committed to working on their craft.

How does it work?

One year commitment from July of 2024- June of 2025 (following the dance year)
Includes:
- Headshots In the summer to kick off the year/ give your dancer headshots for competition and content to share immediately!
- totally custom session with your 10 favorite digital files included- this is completely designed around your dancer!
- 2 styled group sessions- 1 fall, one in jan/feb
- First priority for model calls for new sessions!
Dancers commit to sharing about upcoming dance sessions with Nakupenda Photography + commit to working with Nakupenda Exclusively for the year

What’s the Cost?

$700. This is the same cost as a custom session. Squad members receive one custom session, Headshots + TWO additional group sessions during the year.
Referrals from the spokesmodels earn you additional credit towards purchases in your galleries!

Open to Dancers ages ages 8 (must be 8 by jan of 25) and up Program Cost: $700 1 custom Dance Session 10 digital files from your custom session Headshot session 2 styled group sessions - Typically 1 in the fall and 1 in the late winter Exclusive invitations to model for new session ideas. (Opportunities vary from year to year)

Below are program requirements. Please check off each one to indicate you have read and understood them. *

A 1 year (12 month) commitment must be made

A model release must be signed for participating child to cover all sessions from the year

Nakupenda Photography will be your exclusive photographer for paid or modeling sessions for the full term of your commitment. If you use another photographer during this time you will invalidate your contract with Nakupenda Photography and lose access to all perks of the spokesmodel program. Images purchased at a dance competition or for your studio’s recital day are excluded from this requirement. If you have a concern about this clause please inquire at katieharrison@nakupendaphotography.com prior to submission.

A commitment to post about Nakupenda Photography 1 time per month AND to share 3 times leading up to dance specific sessions Nakupenda offers during the year (powder, rain, light etc)

Provide appropriate outfits for group shoots that are approved by Nakupenda Photography

Behavior expectations:

Dancers + parents are to act in an encouraging manner towards all other squad members. Any negative speech or gossip will not be tolerated. Any questions or concerns regarding the program during the duration of the commitment will be addressed with the photographer directly.

Complete an application, Nakupenda Photography will be sending out dance squad offers on a rolling basis beginning May 15 until the squad of 6 is formed. If you are offered a spot on the team, model release, contract, and payment plan will be due back within a week of offer if you would like to join the team (payment plans are available and fee may be split into up to 7 payments). 24/25 Dance Squad members will be announced publicly on social media after the headshot session in July.
