Small Business Saturday Featuring: Muddie Puddles

Hello and welcome to my newest blog segment featuring small local businesses from around the Valley. I felt after so many years of thriving and being whole heartedly supported by so many friends, family, neighbors and local businesses alike it was my turn to give back by featuring some of the amazing people I had met along the way ESPECIALLY companies that I knew would resonate with my customers.

It was only natural, of course, to feature one of my long time co-conspirators and friends first.

MUDDIE PUDDLES

WHAT IS MUDDIE PUDDLES:

Created in 2012 and Owned by Alicia Strayer this business is located in Queen Creek Arizona. Alicia creates one of a kind boutique children's clothing. She also recently added memory and keepsake stuffies and pillows to the cute creations she offers.

WHY I LOVE HER:

Her boutique items are one of a kind and full of color and textures in a way you’ve never seen before. The fabrics she chooses are always so carefully and thoughtfully laid out, the patterns she selects are the cutest and the quality of her craftmanship is amazing (and trust me, I’ve got a 3 year old who has put it to the TEST!)

Of the 12 years Alicia’s been in business I’ve been fortunate to know her and photograph her creations for at least the the last 7 of those years. It’s so amazing to see another creative mind at work in a completely different way than my own brain works and I love the way she can come up with an outfit that perfectly fits my vision even when my description of what I’m looking for is honestly, pretty terrible.

Check her out hard at work in the images below + check out some of her amazing creations through out the year and then Be sure to give this amazing woman your support on her social media accounts and share with someone who you know loves to dress their little girl in custom creations!
